Refund Policy

Returns

You agree to contact NCI first to resolve any issues, problems, or concerns before returning any product(s).

For items purchased ON-LINE from our web-store. Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Returns may be subject to a restocking fee.

NCI accepts returns at our Reno, NV location only. You must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning any merchandise to NCI. Be sure to note our return policies to avoid additional charges.

When requesting a RMA, please have the following information ready:

  • Account Number
  • Company Name  
  • Invoice Number
  • Model Number
  • Serial Number
  • Outline of the problem

Policies

  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Defective product must be in original factory carton with all original packing materials
  • The RMA number must be on the shipping label, not the carton.

Please do not write on the carton.

  • Returns must be shipped freight prepaid. Products received without an RMA number, freight collect, not approved for return, or in any way not meeting the above criteria, will be refused.
  • Return Merchandise Authorization RMA’s numbers are good for ten (10) days only. Any products returned after the expiration date will be refused.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • NCI credits based on purchase price or current price, whichever is lowest.
  • Refunds (if applicable) once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Any deviation from return policies will result in the product being returned to you with no credit issued.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

Consumable Items and Batteries

Consumable / 1-time use items, such as disposable batteries, universal battery packs (Lithium Ion / NiMH), inkjet or toner cartridges, cleaning products (containing cleaning fluid), screen protectors, heat shrink tubing, thermal paste, zip ties, etc., can only be returned for a replacement of the same item if deemed defective by NCI.

Disposable alkaline batteries are not covered under warranty. NCI's 14-days return policy will apply only if the item(s) is unopened and in the original packaging.

Bulk Items

Bulk items include networking bulk cable, Rg6 bulk cable, microphone cable, lengths of un-terminated cable longer than 100 feet, and other similar items.

In general, NCI, does NOT allow partial returns of any item. If a portion of a bulk item is found to be defective, we may be able to offer a replacement or a partial refund, depending on how much of the product has been used.  Please inquire.

Partial Refunds

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

Book with obvious signs of use

CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error

Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

To return your product, after getting a RMA number, you should mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a track-able shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

JVC: No returns for credit on color television, DVD/Blu-ray/VCR or camcorder. Authorized service center repair only.

Nintendo:
Nintendo Consoles - Serial numbers are tracked on all consoles. Defective return window is 14 days from original NCI invoice date. All console returns must include console, controller, software, AV cable and power cord original box and packing. You will be billed for missing parts.

Nintendo Software and Accessories - We will accept defective returns up to 14 days from date of invoice. All software and accessories must be returned for replacement of same product only. No credit. We reserve the right to charge 25% restocking charge or refuse to issue additional RMAs if returns exceed 2% of total Nintendo product.

Panasonic CE: No returns for credit on video, DVD/Blu-ray/VCR, LCD, plasma, color television, fax or camcorders. Authorized customer service center for repair only.

PlayStation:
PlayStation Consoles - Serial numbers are tracked on all consoles. Defective return window is 14 days from original NCI invoice date. All console returns must include console, controller, software, AV cable and power cord original box and packing. You will be billed for missing parts.

PlayStation Software and Accessories - We will accept defective returns up to 14 days from date of invoice. All software and accessories must be returned for replacement of same product only. No credit. We reserve the right to charge 25% restocking charge or refuse to issue additional RMAs if returns exceed 2% of total PlayStation product.

Samsung CE: No returns for credit on TV, DVD/Blu-ray/VCR, Home Theater. Authorized customer service center for repair only.

Toshiba: No returns for credit for TV, DVD/Blu-ray/VCR, LCD TV, Plasma, Home Theater in a box, TV/VCR or TV/DVD. Authorized customer service center for repair only.

ViewSonic: Returns limited to 14 days. Absolutely no exceptions. Serial number required.

 

Xbox:
Xbox Consoles - Serial numbers are tracked on all consoles. Defective return window is 14 days from original NCI invoice date. All console returns must include console, controller, software, AV cable and power cord, original box and packing. You will be billed for missing parts.

Xbox Live - Defective return policy is 14 days from date of invoice. Xbox needs the subscription code to remove it from their system. If the subscription code is not visible when returned, you will not receive credit. All Xbox Live product must include DVD folder with visible subscription code, Xbox live communicator, and original box. You will be billed for missing parts.

Xbox Software and Accessories - We will accept defective returns up to 14 days from date of invoice. All software and accessories must be returned for same product replacement only. No credit. We reserve the right to charge 25% restocking charge if returns exceed 1%.

Warranties - In General - Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer. NCI administers the individual manufacturer warranty, which may include returning defective products to NCI, sending products to a factory authorized repair center, or factory direct returns. NCI must abide by the return policies dictated by our manufacturers.

NCI reserves the right to modify the above terms and conditions at any time without notification.
